Progress Update: Three Years!
In September 2022, I made the first-ever blog post on our website. There, I posed a simple question: “We’ve begun our journey…but what will we become?”
Amazingly, it’s now almost 2025 - and so many things have happened. We’ve run pilot workshops at multiple schools, scaled up to several events with Hope Solutions, began distributing our content to global partners, and even presented at the UN General Assembly Science Summit. It’s been an incredible journey, and I want to take the chance to recap some of it here.
About a year and a half ago, we transitioned from focusing on scaling our in-house workshops - via increased chapters and partnerships - to distributing the content to allow other organizations to run workshops with little overhead and our support. Following this switch, we’ve seen remarkable adoption across four countries and hundreds of events. Schools, other housing societies, and even some religious organizations have partnered - which has been amazing to see. We’ve distributed lesson notes, material lists, and worksheets for all of our pilot topics and more - from mouse trap cars to suspension bridges.

Presenting at the UNGA
In 2023, we had the opportunity to speak at the 78th UNGA Science Summit - where we aimed to spread the word about our content and methods for developing it. The event was a huge success, and our membership in the ending panel discussion alongside other experts in engineering education was also a bonus. I wanted to share some of our slides here. If you’re interested, check out the recording here.
Moving Forward
As many of our founding members transition into college, we plan to continue with everything we’ve been doing - creating more content for more workshop topics. It’ll be a shift, but the core identity of our program is working…and it will continue.
If you’ve supported our organization in some form over the years, I want to personally thank you. It’s been an incredible journey, and though I still might not know what we’re ultimately “going to become,” I think I speak for everyone here when I say, we’re proud of who we are today.
