We bridge the gap between playful creativity and real-world engineering problem solving

By creating and distributing content that empowers anyone to host low-cost, sustainable, and hands-on engineering workshops

Effective workshops at scale

Whether you represent a school, youth organization, or anything else, our materials empower you to host workshops. The engineering method, mechanical and material concepts, and real-world prototyping skills have never been more accessible and fun.

Low-cost, fast-turnaround events

Through recycled materials and cost-optimization, many of our workshops can be run for less than $1.00 per student, or even for free. All that’s needed to begin is a a community space and a few volunteers.

Sustainable, equitable engineering

Our goal is to achieve sustainability and equity in everything we do. That means our content is documented and consistent, and uses environmentally friendly materials.

Hands-on projects - Real-world techniques

Not only will students build suspension bridges, mouse trap cars, and miniature hydraulic arms, they’ll first break down their ideas using techniques from industrial engineering - goals, constraints, minimum viable product, prototype iteration, and more. No matter their age, students will work towards a deep understanding of how the world’s more complex problems are broken down and solved.

No specialized skills or space needed

By using our lesson plans, worksheets, videos and templates, anyone can run our workshops. Imagine transforming your classroom or community space into a pop-up STEM hub. Now, anyone can. By working with organizations worldwide, we can constantly adjust and tune our curricula in order to connect students and be more effective.
